Stereotyping

Stereotyping is an unfair statement to believe / think /say groups of people are the same even when they are not. Stereotyping makes people feel different.  It's definitely not true people say these things to make themselves feel better and make the other people look bad, don't judge people by the way they look.

Here's an example of stereotyping - ‘girls like pink, boys like blue.’
I disagree because my favourite colour is green and I think anyone can like anything if they choose, boys can like pink or purple and girls can like green and blue.

Here is a second  example ‘boys play rough sports and girls don’t.’
I disagree because I know that some boys don't like rough sports and some girls love it, anyone can chose what they want to play.

The last  is example is ‘All asians are smart.’ I disagree because some do need help with things.

In conclusion stereotyping is unfair and you should not do it because it hurts the person deep down inside.  I think we should just do what we want to do and be who we want to be and never worry what others say, just be ourselves.
